Delegates Conference
The Delegates Conference shall be the highest Legislative Assembly of the Church. It has the authority to establish policies, programs, and procedures for carrying out the Church’s work and obtaining its objectives. Only the Delegates Conference can authorize the affiliation of the Church with other Church bodies or federations, and the discontinuance of such associations. This important conference is organized each year to receive reports or elect new leaders.
it is made of :
- All national Leaders
- 4 delegates from from each ELCG Congregations
- 2 delegates from each Recognized Groups and Fellowships of ELCG
- 1 delegate from affiliate bodies and Institutions
- in attendance are observers who do note have voting right.
